I had the privilege of covering Turaznama, a special event organized to honor renowned Bollywood lyricist A.M. Turaz, acclaimed for his work on Heeramandi, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat to mention just a few. The evening featured an engaging conversation between Ms. Sunayna Kachroo, herself an accomplished poet, and Mr. Turaz - providing the audience with rare insights into his inspiring journey in Bollywood. Alongside vibrant dance performances choreographed to Turaz’s celebrated songs, the highlight of the night was a captivating live recital by Mr. Turaz, where he mesmerized the audience by sharing a diverse selection of his compositions.
